Products

What is your product line?

We personalize and print high-quality stickers, iron-ons, address labels, water labels, and more! Our specialty is creating labels for gift-giving occasions such as Christmas, Halloween, Valentine's Day, back to school, and birthday parties, as well as creating everyday stationery such as return address labels, "this belongs to" labels, and bookplates.

In addition to our large catalog of printed-and-shipped labels, we also offer easy-to-use DIY party printables and free printable DIY downloads.

Our goal is to help you make holidays and every day extra special - and to make your life a little easier, too!

I'm considering placing my first order but I'm not sure?

We understand! It can feel risky to order from a website that's new to you. But, rest assured you've come to the right place! We've been in business since 2009, filled hundreds of thousands of orders, and maintained an extremely high level of customer satisfaction throughout our many years in business.

We stand behind our high-quality products and consistent turnaround time with quick and attentive customer service. We are always happy to help before and after placing your order.

Can you design something new for me?

Our product line is entirely based on customer feedback about their needs, and our founder, Heather, loves designing new products! If you've run into a snag where you can't find something you need for holidays, school, or everyday use and you think others might have the same problem too, we're all ears. Please email shop@chickabug.com with your idea!

We're not able to take totally custom work, however. Examples of this include logo labels for a business, using a phrase that's unique to your specific school or grade, or using customer-supplied art.

Personalization

Can I leave the name area blank?

Yes! Simply write "no name" in the text box, and we'll leave that area blank for you to hand-write names in.

Can I personalize a single item with two names?

We are always happy to personalize items with multiple names together - such as making one sheet of 12 stickers where all 12 stickers say "From Ava & John".

But, we are NOT able to split single items between two or more names - such as making one sheet of 12 stickers with 7 stickers from Ava and 5 from John. Your best bet in this case is to order your labels with no personalization in the name area (write "no name") so that you can hand-write your names in.

Can I use emojis?

Sorry, no - emojis aren't supported for custom text, including hearts.

Orders & Returns

Can I make a change to my order?

Our turnaround time is very quick, so if you made a mistake on your order, please contact us ASAP so that we can help! Email shop@chickabug.com for assistance.

Please verify your shipping address at checkout before submitting your order. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be re-routed in transit.

Can I cancel my order?

Of course! We understand that cancelations are necessary sometimes. Cancellations can be processed as long as the order has not been shipped yet. Please email us at shop@chickabug.com for help.

What is your return policy?

All personalized items are final sale. For non-personalized items and instant download items, please contact us at shop@chickabug.com and we will be happy to help.

REFUNDS OR REPLACEMENTS

We will provide a refund or a replacement order free of charge if we made an error on our end while personalizing and processing your order.

However, we are not required to give refunds or provide replacements for:

  • products made with incorrect information or typos due to customer error.
  • orders shipped to incorrect addresses due to customer error.

If you don't feel completely satisfied with your experience with Chickabug, please contact us at shop@chickabug.com so that we can correct the problem. We want every customer to be a happy customer!

Can I include a gift note with my order?

We would be happy to hand-write and enclose a gift note with your order! (Our notecards are small, however - about the size that florists use - so please limit your note to a sentence or two.) You can include your gift note in the "Add Order Note" option at checkout.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, Shop Pay (Shopify payments), and PayPal.

Shipping & Turnaround

When will my order ship?

We are proud to offer a consistently quick in-house turnaround time for our customers!

Orders are printed, packaged, and shipped within 3-5 business days.* Please note that this is the in-house processing time and does not account for the time the package is in the mail.

* Please note that during some busy times of year such as around Black Friday, as well as all of January and early February for Valentine's Day, we may need an extra day or two in-house as we are handling such a high volume of orders.

What are your shipping rates and timelines?

STANDARD SHIPPING

We ship via USPS First Class, which usually takes 3-6 business days in transit. Orders under $35 ship at a flat rate of $3.50. Orders over $35 ship free!

EXPEDITED SHIPPING

Expedited shipping methods are available at checkout. Please note that in the rare cases of USPS delays and mishandling of expedited mail, expedited shipping fees are non-refundable.

USPS Priority Mail ($8): 2-3 business days.
USPS Express ($24): 1-2 business days.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship within the United States, to its territories, and to all APO/AE addresses. We do not ship internationally.

Where do orders ship from?

We ship from our studio in Columbia, Maryland.

Tracking & Delivery

Where is my order confirmation?

Your order confirmation is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. Please check your mailbox’s spam, junk, and/or promotions folders if you don't see it in your inbox. If you still don't see it, please contact us at shop@chickabug.com.

What is my tracking number?

Please check and/or search your email to find your tracking number – you would have received a shipping notification with tracking information from shop@chickabug.com as soon as we created your mailing label. If you can't find this information, you can ask us to look it up on our end. Email shop@chickabug.com and we will be happy to help.

I received an email that my label had been created, but the tracking isn't updated?

"Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item" means that your label has been created and it is either (1) still in our studio awaiting our daily pick-up by USPS or (2) has been picked up by USPS but not processed and scanned into the system yet. Either way, it's a temporary status, so hold tight! More information is coming soon!

Please note that we sometimes work on Sundays and may create labels on that day, but there is no mail pickup until Monday (pickup days are Monday through Saturday, excluding postal holidays).

The tracking says "delivered" but it's not here?

The majority of the following information is directly from USPS.com regarding their delivery practices. It's also our advice based on many, many years of experience. : )

If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered but you can't find it, please check:

  • Your mailbox.
  • Your porch.
  • Your garage.
  • Any area of the exterior of your home that's safe from potential weather hazards.
  • Exterior doors and any locations where the package could be placed.

 

You can also:

  • Check your mailbox again later, as some packages are delivered separately from your regular mail.
  • Check with others in your house that may have accepted it.
  • Check with neighbors to see if the package was left there.

 

Please note:

  • Delivery drivers sometimes pre-scan their packages for delivery BEFORE arriving to your home. So you may get a "delivered" message in advance of delivery.
  • In rare cases, a package may show as "delivered" but could take up to an additional 24 hours to actually arrive.

My package came damaged. What to do?

We ship all labels in a sturdy flat mailer, enclosed in a plastic sleeve, with a “handle with care” label on the envelope. Unfortunately, once a package leaves our shop, we are unable to control how it is handled by the postal service. However, we know it is our job to provide you with a wonderful product and experience that lives up to our high standards. Should your order arrive damaged and unusable due to the post office's handling, please contact us at shop@chickabug.com and we will send you a replacement free of charge.

What is your privacy policy?

We respect and protect the privacy of our customers. Your information is used only to fulfill your order and will never be distributed to third parties or otherwise abused.

We maintain a confidential email newsletter list and an SMS text marketing list. We never add customers to those lists without permission. Inclusion is optional and you can opt in and opt out of those lists at any time. Like the information associated with your order, the email addresses and phone numbers provided to those lists will never be distributed to third parties or otherwise abused.

Do you sell wholesale?

Due to the custom nature of our products, we don't currently offer wholesale distribution.
